What is an Apartheid Free Zone?
An AFZ is a declared space that publicly refuses to normalize or profit from apartheid structures.
That usually means:
- Preferring suppliers and partners who are not complicit
- Ending commercial relationships that fund or whitewash occupation and apartheid
- Educating staff, members, and visitors
- Standing with BDS goals without needing to copy any other website’s design or bureaucracy
What it is not
- A call to harm civilians
- A personality cult or imported brand kit
- Empty branding without practice
- A paid certificate mill
Where we sit
This site (apartheidfreezone.com) and the Greek registry (apartheidfreezone.gr) are an adjacent project under the same broad BDS AFZ umbrella. We do not represent the Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC) and we are not the official BDS website.
